DEATH OF I. J. PORTER.
)(lsaac J. Porter, who has been in poor health for the past year or more, died quite suddenly at his home in this city at about 5 o’clock Monday morning, aged 60 years, 9 months and 24 days. XHe was born in Orange county, Ind., but came to this county when four years of age and had resided here since. He leaves afwidow, one daughter, Mrs. Bert Brenner, and erne son, Boyd. \The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, from the house, Rev. J. C. Rhoades of Kokomo, assisted by Rev. J. B. Bair of Brookston and A. G. Work of this city, conducting the services. Interment in Weston cemetery>iThe stores closed daring the funeral as a mark of respect, Mr. Porter being a merchant of the city.
