THE COMMON COUNCIL.
The regular meeting of the city council was held Monday evening. G. A. Strickfaden was granted a city saloon license. The city treasurer whs instructed to get prices on a bond register and report to the council. The matter bf extra pay for making the special assessment duplicate was referred to councilmen Spitler and Irwin. The treasurer’s report for the month ending November 30th shows the following condition of the city’s finances: Water fund, on hand, $840.57; corporation fund, on hand, $126.65; electric light fund, on hand $195.25; road fund, overdrawn, $6.80. Orders have been presented and not paid for want of fund as follows: Road, $804.16; corporation, $1951.13; electric light, $836.35. The following claims were allowed: CORPORATION FUND. B. H.
