Tried to Take Red hot Stove.
Chicago, Dec. f. —After Constable Martin Conners had gathered nearly everything portable In sight to satisfy a judgment held by a brewing company against E. Erbert, a saloonkeeper. 134 Gault court, he started after the stove. “It’s redliot." warned the proprietor. “I’ve found that out.” rejoined the constable. Conner threw water on the stove. Then he was taken to the Policlinic hospital aud afterward to bis dwelling. 5 Warren avenue. He will be out in a week.
