John Bright’s Reply.

On one occasion John Bright received a letter from a very bad writer, to which he replied: Dear Sir—Many thanks for your letter of the 12th Inst. I have no doubt but that It is a very good letter and that It contains matter as Interesting as it Is Important; but, by the bye, if you should be In town in the course of a few days, would you mind Just stepping In and reading it to me?
