To Chairman, County Farmers’ Institute: Dear Sir: The 7th Annual conference of Farmers’ Institute workers will be held here Oct. 1218, ’O4. The day before, Oct. 11, will occur the 3d Annual Statewide Farmers’ Picnic Excursion to Purdue University and the Experiment Station. A rate of one fare plus 25 cents for the round trip from all Indiana points has been granted by the Central Passenger Association for these events, tickets to be sold Oct. 10, 11, 12 and good to return until the 14. Ex-governor Hoard of Wisconsin, a speaker of national reputation, will address the excursionists on Tuesday. Mr. O. J. Kern of Illinois, Mr. F. A. Cotton, our State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Mrs. [ Virgiuia C. Meredith of Cambridge City, and other prominent men and women will address the Conference on the 12 and 13, which is to be a working body in a fuller sense than ever before. Very Trnlv Yours. W. C.
