Lawson’s entry in the class for aged bulls at the World's fair cattle show, could get no better than sixth place, and the nominations of George Vanderbilt and the Ladd estate, the other millionaire competitors in the Jersey events, were not in the money. Merry Maiden’s third son. o\VHed by H. C. Taylor, of Oxfordville, Wis.. was the animal that lowered the colors of the beads of the millionaire herds.
