XAbout six weeks ago a Rensselaer widow, on the shady side of fifty, inserted a four line ad in The Democrat for a husband, and she is now a happy bride as the result. She received a large number of replies to the ad, several from distant states, where The Democrat also circulates, but landed a prosperous farmer of a neighboring county.
