THE NEW DISTRICT CHAIRMAN.
• From all sides was heard the complaint of lack of enthusiasm at the republican ratification meeting in Chicago this week. They ought to have had McCoy’s sheepskin band and Sweet Singers of Israel up there. This issue closes six years of the present ownership and management of The Democrat.
