GEO, R. DICKINSON DIES.

R. Dickinson, an old and respected resident of Carpenter township, died at his home a few miles northeast of Remington, Wednesday at 10:30 p. m., aged 76 years, 1 month and 2 daysNiMr. Dickinson had been in very / poor health for several months, and his death came as a blessed relief from suffering. The funeral will be held ht his late residence Sunday at 10;30 a. m., Rev. Abram Miller, the wellknown Dunkard preacher, of Barkley township, conducting the services. Interment in the Dobbins cemetery. Mr. Dickinson was born in Rotterdam, N. Y., April 23. 1828. He came to Jasper county 36 years ago and has resided ever since almost continuously on the farm where he died. He was twice married and leaves three sons and two daughters by his first marriage. His second marriage was to Martha Casey, in 1889, who still survives him. For the past 22 years he has been a member of the German Baptist or Dunkard church, and was a consistent Christian man.
