CALL FOR PRECINCT MEETINGS.

The Democrats of the various townships are requested to meet in mass convention in their respective townships on SATURDAY, MARCH 26, 1904, at 2:30 p. m. for the purpose of selecting precinct committeemen to serve as members of the County Central Committee, for the ensuing two years; each voting precinct being entitled to one representative on said Committee. The following places have been designated for the holding of said meetings:— Hanging Grove, ‘Center” (or Banta) school house, district No. 6. Barkley, East and West precincts (both) at “Cozey Palace” school house. Carpenter, three precincts, at Town Hall, Remington. Gillam, “Center” school house, district No. 3. Jordan, “Egypt” school house, district No. 1. Kankakee, Dunnville school bouse, Tefft. Keener, DeMotte school house, DeMotte. Milroy, “Center” school house. Newton, East court rdom, court house, Rensselaer. Marion, East court room, court house, Rensselaer. Union North, school house, Fair Oaks. Union, South, school house, Parr. Barkley Township Convention.

The Democratic voters of Barkley township are requested to meet in mass convention at Cozy Palace School house on SATURDAY, MARCH 26, ’O4 at 2:30 o’clock p. m., for the purpose of selecting candidates for the various township officer to be voted for at the November election. Kankakee Township Convention. The Democratic voters of Kankakee Township will meet in mass convention at Dunnville school house, SATURDAY, MARCH 26, 1904, at 2 o’clock p. m., for the purpose of electing a township chairman and secretary, to choose delegates to the county convention and to nominate a township ticket to be voted for in November, and to transact such other business as may come before the meeting.
