DONE BY THE STRIKERS
Steel Frame Work on n “Struck*’ Building Wrecked by Masked Men at Night. Kansas City, March 18.—Sixteen masked men, heavily armed, overpowered at night the watchman at the plant of the Procter & Gamble Soap company, now in course of construction in West Armourdale, and wrecked the steel-frame work in the first story of the oil refinery building. The loss to the steel contruction company doing the work is estimated at $5,000. It is supposed that the damage was done by structural iron workers who have declared a strike against the contracting company. Work on the plant will be delayed two months as a result of the vandalism.
