Washington, March 11. The senate passed a number of bills relating to Alaska, but failed to act on the measure authorizing the election of a delegate in congress from that territory. Other bills passed include one increasing to SIOO the pensions of exsoldiers who have become totally blind on account of service. The house was informed of the death of Representative Croft of South Carolina, and without transacting any business adjourned as a. mark of respect
