THE COMMON COUNCIL.
The oity council met in regular session Monday evening. The report of the city commissioners on the Cedar street improvement was confirmed. An ordinance for a sewer on Milton and Vine street was passed. M. A. Ryan, of Delphi, offered to accept $76 in full payment of his claim of 9100 for legal services in the Nowels vs. City damage case, and his offer was accepted and an additional order for 926 was ordered issued, 9&0 having previously been allowed him. An ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds for the unpaid assessments on the Makemself sewer was passed The city treasurer presented a report for the month ending October 31st. It shows the following balances on hand: Corporation fund, 942; road fund, 9962.89; water fond, 91347.67; electric light fund, 9167.86; electric light improvement fund, 97064.72. Orders to the amonnt of 91662.27 In the corporation fond are outstanding and unpaid for the want of funds. The following claims were allowed: ELECTRIC UGHT FUND. ]. H. Chapman, freight 151 90 Gen.
