Germany's New Battle Ships.

German critics are comparing moat unfavorably the battle ships now building for that country with the latest authorised by England, France, Russia and the United States, says the New York 9ommerciai Advertiser. These ships displaced only 13,200 as compared with the 16,200 and 18,000 ton ships building for England, 16,300 ton ships building for the United States, 16,000 ton ships for Russia and nearly 16,000 ton ships for France. Their largest guns are only 11 inch as compared with the 12 inch guns of other navies; their next size, 6.7, must be compared with the 7 to 9.2 of Germany’s rivals.
