THE CONCERNED PARTY. As I looked down the D. V. items in The Jasper County Democrat last week, I took notice of an item where I was seen going north, and the writer wondered if I wasn't looking for calves? I take pleasure in learning that a party has the calves, through the D. V. items, but as the owner is unknown to me, will owner please oblige by dropping me a card at the D. V. postoffice, and also stating and describing same, color, etc., white or black; prefer white. Joe Fenzel.

The Death Penalty. A little thing sometimes results in death. Thus a mere scratch, insignificant cuts or puny boils have paid the death penalty. It is wise to have Buckleu’s Arnica Salve very handy. It’s the best Salve on earth and will prevent fatality, when Burns, Sores, Ulcers and Piles threaten. Only 35c, at A. F. Long’s Drug Store.
