TWO NEW SCHOOL HOUSES.

The trustee of Union township let the contract for two new school houses last Saturday, one of two rooms at Aix to take the place of the old one which was too small, and one at Pembroke in a new district. The contract price for the Aix building was SI,OOO above foundation and exclusive of funiture, and $575, includiug foundation for the one at Pembroke. David Elder of Parr was awarded contract for the Pembroke house, and Rush & Warren of this citt for the Aix house.
