OtA temporary restraining order in the proposed highway jn Keener tp., running through Nelson Morris’ land, was granted by Judge Hanley Tuesday. The proposed road was laid out in 1876, but was never opened up. “Honest Abe,” in chambers, Monday, ordored the trustee of Keener tp., to have the necessary repairs made to a bridge across the Kankakee between Demotte and Hebron, the cost in excess of $75 to be paid by the county. The high water recently washed out 160 feet of the aforesaid bridge, and it is estimated that it will take SBOO to repair it. • • —o — New suits filed: No. 0464, Petition of Harvey C. Woosley, Lee Woosley, Walter Woosley, Ettia Woosley, children of Robert and Martha Woosley, to have their name changed to Rush; their mother having been divorced from Robert Woosley, in lowa, several years ago, and the children have since lived with their mother and her second husband, John Rush of Remington, and having adopted and been known by the name of Rush.
