EN with political aspirations are studying the legislative reapportioument bill recently passed. It had a rocky road, beoiiusasevera! members of the House objected to changes in their districts. Eiangh compromises were made to insure that the House would concur In tire SenntS amendments, and the bill went to the Governor. Under the new bill, elections will be held in the fol lowing senatorial districts nest year: St. Joseph and Laporte; St. Joseph (because of the dentil of Senator Burns). Lagrange and Noble; Steuben nnd Dekalb; Koseiusko and Marshall; Allen nnd Adams; Wabash and Fulton; Porter, Jasper, Pulaski and Starke; Newton, Benton nnd White; Warren, Vermilion and Fountain; Montgomery and Park; Clinton and Hamilton; Madison; Hancock aud Henry; Delaware; Johnson, Brown and Jackson; Rush, Fayette and Shelby: Marion; Marion, Hendricks and Boone; Vigo; Franklin, Union, Dearborn. Ohio nnd Switzerland; Washington, Scott nnd Clark; Spencer, Perry nnd Crawford (because of the dentil of Senator Gibson); Vanderburg; total, twenty-seven to elect.
