The typical Irish carman Is a person of much sagacity. One night a returned missionary took a car, In a dubious frame of mind. He had been invited to dine with some friends at the house of an acquaintance whose name he had forgotten. He only knew that his host lived bn Harcourt street. “What am I to do?” he asked of bis driver. “Never mind, sor,” was the reply. “I’ll fluil him for you.” “But you can’t You don't know his name.” “Lave it to me, sor.
