OBITUARY.

Jacob Franklin Bowers was born July 11,1882, and succumbed to death’s call, Sunday morning, November 23, 1902, aged 20 years, 4 months and 12 days. His sickness was brief but painful. He was always the picture of health and was smitten down in the early dawn of manhood, apparently strong and robust. He was the hope and staff of his parents’ lives and was a faithful and dutiful son and brother, meriting the love and friendship of all who knew him. He lived a life that his young comrades could well take as an exanmple and profit by it. He leaves a vacant place that can never be filled, but only pleasant and loving thoughts of him are cherished by his grief-stricken family and host of friends. The whole community extends to the family their deepest sympathy in this the dark hour of their sad bereavement. * CARD OP THANKS.
