SYLVESTER O'MEARA DIES.

hy\ vester O’Meara, an old and respected citizen, died at his home on South Weston street, Thursday afternoon after a long and painful illness, aged hi years and 8 months. 'f-lle had suffered for some years with a cancer of the face, but the immediate cause of his dealh was Bright’s disease. The funeral will be held to-day at 9 a. m., from St Augustine’s Catholic church, and interment made in Mt. Calvary cemetery, south of town. Mr. O’Meara was born in Perue, Ind., and had resided iu Jasper county for about 21 years. He leaves a widow,'and five children. He was a highly respected citizen, strictly honest and a good man.
