Street Car Riot at New Orleans.

New Orleans, Oct. 9.—The first attempt to mu ears from tliel’aual street barn, which was made at 1(1 o’clock in the morning, resulted in a serious riot in which Policeman Sehlesslngor was shot through the head and probably fatally wounded; Conductor Kennedy was shot in tlu* hand, Motorman Ferguson, a striker, was shot through the arm and a number of policemen were painfully wounded by Hying missiles. Fifty shots wen* fired during t lie disturbance.
