DEDICATION OF THE NANCY HANKS MONUMENT OCTOBER 5.
The monument constructed of stone taken from the grave of President Lincoln at Springfield, 111., to mark the last testing place of his devoted mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln, is now completed and ready for dedication. Mrs, Lincoln’s memorial is in Lincoln City, Ind. It will be formally dedicated October 5, the date selected by the Nancy" Hanks Memorial Association, under whose auspices the monument was built. The dedication of the monument will probably be a groat event for southern Indiana, as Gov. Durbin and staff and all State officials will be' invited to take part in the ceremonies, and an invitation will also be extended to President Roosevelt.
