HOME FROM MISSOURI.
Messrs. W. B. Flesher, J. F. Wolch, J. E. Kunkler, Ira Kunkler, T. F. Weaver and W. E. Kunkler have arrived home from Henry Co., Mo., where they went to look at the country, and while there bought farms. They report threshing of wheat and oats going on, wheat making 25 to 40 bushels and oats 40 to 50 bushels .to the acre. Some of the corn is in roasting ears and bids fair to make a big crop. Timothy and clover meadows are cutting around 2 tons to the acre. v o Big Rain on the 4th of July. Mr. L. D. Welch who has just re- ! turned from a trip to S. Dak., said : | “The section of that country that I saw had a very heavy rain the fourth of July. The farmers arb | cutting rye and the crop is large j this year. The rest of the crops are doing tine and chaubes are for a big harvest iu everything. Corn is a little larger out there than it
is here and is not hurt by high water so far.” The above items were both both clipped from a Bloomington paper of July 8. We have a large list of lands for sale in both of these sections. Call on us. Jones Brothers, Remington, Ind.
