On May 12, the anthracite strike began, and in that time the losses have reached the enormous smu of s2s,ooo,Qflp‘. Two boys have been shot and seriously wouuded; many watchmen nnd workers liava been beaten, some property has been destroyed and there is constant apprehension of trouble.
