ST. JOSEPH’S COMMENCEHENT.

Monday and Tuesday were great days at St. Joseph’s College, being the closing of the school year. On Monday evening. "The Druid's Ambition,*’ was staged by St. Joseph’s College Dramatic Club. Tuesday at 9:30 n. m., a Pontifical High Mass was celebrated and an eloquent sermon was delivered by Bishop Aldering. At 2:30 a contesting drill took place between St. Paul’s cadets of Chicago and St. Joseph’s Volunteers, which was greatly enjoyed by the large number of people on the grounds. The address was delivered by Rev. Father Heldman of Chicago, and his eloquent remarks filled with strains of patriotism was received by rounds of applause from his attentive hearers, in the evening the annual commencement exercises were held in the College auditorium, sixteen young men receiving diplomas. A large number of visitors were entertained at the College during the interesting exercises, among them about eighty priests from various points.
