DECLAMATION CONTEST.
The second annual declamation contest with one contestant from each school corporation outside Marion and Rensselaer, will be held at 1:30 p. m., at Rensselaer, Indiana, on June 21, 1902. Each contestant will be furnished with four free tickets. Five prizes will be given as follows: 1. For best declamation by Boy within school age, Robert Parker; 2. Best declamation by Girl within school age, Cummings & Darroch; 3. Rest declamation by person between ages of 16 and 21, Fred D. Gilman; 4. Best between ages of 11 and 16, Hanley & Hunt; 5. Between ages of 6 and 11, Ferguson & Wilson. Contestants will be selected by the Trustees of the School corK 'rations and will meet at the akeever House at 11 a. m., and be furnished with a free ride over the city as well as a hotel dinner.
