Board of Education Meeting.

The Jasper cuunty board of education met at the court house Monday afternoon and elected a truant officer and made their report of enumeration of children of school age in their respective bailiwicks. Owing to Trustee Bill of Jordan, being down with rheumatism, he was unable to be present at the meeting For truant officer a ballot was taken which resulted in 9 votes for Philip Blue, the present incumbent, 4 votes for W.
