MANDOLIN CLUB RECITAL.

The Rensselaer Mandolin Club will make its first public appearance Thursday evening, May 1, at Ellis opera house. The Club have for the past four months been under the management and instruction of Prof. W. D. Perkins, a most competent and able instructor, of Indianapolis. Mr. Perkins is especially noted as a violinist, and he will appear in this role in two numbers of the program prepared. Great care and preparation has been taken and the pupils have worked long and faithfully to make this one of the best musical entertainments ever given in this city. You will always be sorry if you do not attend. The best musical talent of Rensselaer has been secured to assist in this entertainment and the public will be highly entertained and pleased if they spend the evening of May Ist in attendance at the recital given by the Rensselaer Mandolin Club.
