Limitations.

The savages were much cast down. "The trouble with us,” quoth they, pathetically, “is that we don’t know when We are licked. Only a little while ago some Anglo-Saxons came here and shot Us quite a bit, and devastated more or less of our country. We supposed we were licked, and therefore civilized, but the moment we went out in good society, what was onr chagrin to discover that we were not! Mortifying?
