APPLICATION FOR LIUUOR LICENSE Notice is hereby given the citizens of Rensselaer. Marion Township. Jasper County. Indiana. and more particularly to the citizens of the third ward of said city of Rensselaer, in said county and state, that the undersigned. Charles Danlord, a male inhabitant of the state of Indiana, over the age of twenty-one years, of good moral character, and a man not jn the habit of becoming intoxicated, and lias been a continuous resident of said city and township for over ninety days last past, and who is in respect to all legal requirements a tit and proper person to be entrusted witli the sale of intoxicating liquors and who is and will lie the actual owner and proprietor of said business if license be granted to him. will apply to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper county, Indiana, at their December term. IBul. said term commencing on Monday. December 2. 1901, for a license to sell and barter spirituous, vinous, malt ami all other intoxicating liquor, in a less quantity than a quart at a tune, with the privilege of allowing and permitting the same to lie drank on the premises where sold and bartered. Said applicant will also, at the same tin e and place ask the Board to grant him the privilege of selling tobacco and cigars. in the same room and in connection with said retail liquor business. The precise location of the premises wherein said applicant desires to conduct said retail liquor business, is the room on the first floor of a two story brick building situated on the north end of lots 14 au<]ls, in block 2ti, Weston s add. to the town, now city, of Rensselaer, the said room particularly located and described us follows to-wit: Commencing at the northwesterly corner of said lot fifteen (15) thence in an easterly direction forty-two (42) feet parallel with Vine street, thence in u southerly direction twenty two (22) feet purallel with Main street, thence in a w esterly direction forty-two (42) feet, parallel with Vine street, thence in a northerly direction twenty-two ,22) feet parullel with Main street to the place of beginning. The said room fronts on Maiu street with glass atul brick front and glass door fronting ou said Main street, and is nineteen (19) fee* and eight (8) inches by thirty-nine 139) feet and eight (8) inches inside measurement. The north side of said room is the outside wull of said building, having two (2l window* mid one door therein. The east side of suid room is the outside wall of sab) building, having one (1 > door and one (I) w indow therein. The south side of said room is the outside wall of said building having no doors, but one w indow therein. The suid described room 1* seuerute from any other business of any kind, nud has no devises for amusement or music of any kind or ehuructet, and there is no partitions therein. I he said room can he securely dosed and locked and admission thereto prevented, and is so arranged with glass w indows that the whole of sail! room may be viewed from sidewalk and street In front of said building and bar room.
