Oh, my! What fine weather. Husking corn is the order of the day. Mary Simonin has returned from her visit in Illinois. Mrs. Bill aud niece visited Goodland one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Karr are spending the we< k iri Illinois. Henry L. Wortley sports a fine new buggy. Look out, girls! Mrs. Johnson of Loganspoat, is visiting her parents, H. M. Burr's. Miss Emma Shindler of Rosalie, Wash-, ington, visited her aunt, Mrs. John Bill, last week. W. 1). Bringle and family, Mrs Anna Lane and Mrs. Lizzie Shindler, of Newton county, picked chicken bone»at the trustee’s Sunday. Quarterly meeting at the M. B. church Saturday and Sunday Services will be held Saturuay evening, ounday forenoon and evening. The Bresident of the M. B. church is expected to be present.
