Mrs. Frank Rhodie returned on Saturday from Chicago where she had been to have a surgical operation performed upon her little boy. Several parties from our : lace attended the dedication of the new Catholic church at Kniman on Sunday. The new church is quite a commodious structure and reflects great credit on its promoters. The little town of Kniman will soon be well supplied with churches as there is a new Methodist church nearing completion. There is great joy among the old cows and plug horses of this community because of the fact that Willis Nearhoff has ordered a new corn shredder and they hope their rations will be changed from R. G. hay to good shredded corn fodder. Surely Willis, is going to be a benefactor in his old days. Mr. Dunnville is evidently in ths: dark in regard to our identity. We never sold a pill or peddled gospel or played the pedigogy, nor have wc yet reached that age in life at which Pope says "Man half suspects himself a fool,” and as we are yet tarrying in Jerricho for our beard to grow, of course we can not yet look back on our youth with regret. Try again, Mr. Dunnville, perhaps you may locate us and in the meantime, remember the old adage, "If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again."
