In [?]ian Killed In Quarrel.

An Indian, Jose Arguello, was murdered at Needles. Cal., by Tomo Moresto, a fellow tribesman. Arguello was stabbed to death during a quarrel over a Mexican girl. Morcsto fled, but was captured. When the officers went for the body of Arguello they discovered that It had been carried off by tho Indians, who taking it to the desert heaped up a pile of brush upon which' they placed the corpse, and while the flames consumed it danced about the funeral pyre chanting' weird dirges.
