Six months ago the report showed a membership of 10,211; June 30, 1900, the membership was 18,811; 1889. 17,257; 1898, 18,100; 1897, 19,184; 1890, 20,503. Loss by death, 220; honorably discharged, lit!; transferred, 190; suspended, 051. The total net loss in six months was 352. Deducting the 220 deaths, the losses from other causes were 120. Total money in the hands of qimr termasters of the posts, 823,715.22. Dec. 30, tlie amount was 822,738.81. In the six months the total receipts were 815,802.27. Total disbursements, 814,791.24. Death Finds '■imrular Vow. When the Bond family, who reside in Orange County, was broken up nearly forty years ago the mother decided to sell tlie old farm.
