Pennsylvania Railroad Company is trying to get rid of the dangerous curve at Raysville. Bert Pierson and Miss Cora Hagemier, Sullivan, eloped to Danville, 111., and were married. New Castle Bridge Company got the contract for seven small bridges in Henry County at a much lower price than the trust bid. Several cases of smallpox at Eureka have caused the suspension of some of the rural mails in Spencer and Warrick counties, and the bridges are guarded by men with Winchesters.
