BALES LUMBER COMPANY.
Builders Material, Coal, Sewer Pipe, Etc. 1 The Bales Lumber Company, where a large stock of hard and soft lumber is always to be found on hand in large variety, has a very accessible location near the Monon railway depot. The affairs are managed by Mr. George O. Bales, a pushing young business man whose close application to the business and whose thorough knowledge of the woods and their relative vrfiue and uses makes it an easy matter for customers to have their wants properly supplied at this yard. Besides carrying a large stock of lumber, lath, shingles, doors and windows, the Bales Lumber Co., also have on hand all sizes of sewer pipe, vitrified brick, flue linings, and hard and soft coal. Of the latter the Bales Lumber Company have a full line and are prepared during the summer months to give some very close contract prices on the next winter’s supply. The prospect for a great amount of building in Jasper county, from fencing to substantial residences, was never more promising than this season and the Bales Lumber Company has on hand a specially large stock of lumber of all grades and classes to meet whatever demands are made. Their prices are always as low as consistent with the best values and generally a little lower than all competitors. This lumber yard is in every way up-to-date. Its large patronage from the public is due to the fair
and impartial treatment extended customers in the past. Mr. George O. Bales is. one of Rensselaer’s most respected young citizens and interests himself in all matters pertaining to the welfare of our city.
