CHURCH AND CLERGY.

Tabb Street Presbyterian Church, Petersburg. Va., has extended a call to the Rev. W. E. Cave of Paducah, Ky. In order to give himself a needed rest, the Rev. 8. Bartlett has resigned the pastorate of the East Side Presbyterian Chcgeh, Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Charles Bayard Mitchell, pastor of Heunepin Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, Minneapolis, has been voted n three months' vacation. The Rev. J. H.Culler has been installed as pastor of First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta, Ohio. The Rev. O. D. Bnltxly of Mansfield delivered the charge to the pastor. The First Baptist (’hurch of Oshkosh, Wis., was burned recently, but the membetahip of the church already is considering plans for rebuilding Its meeting bouse. A business man. not a member of the church, has given his check 'for SSOO, and other substantial donations have been given or promised.! The Rev, William J. C'rflfee of Huron, 8. 1)., is filling the pulpit of Broadway Methodist Episcopal Church, Council Bluffs, lowa, in the absence of the pastor, the Rev. Myron C. Waddell, who Is in California for his health. Martin Maloney of Philadelphia has under construction a new Roman GiUholic church at Spring Lake Beach. N. J,, which he Is buildipg us a memorial to his daughter Catherine, who diet) recently.Tha church complete will cost $125,000. Connected with the church will be a free public library which will be maiuiaiaad by Mr. Maloney.
