Veterinary Surgeon. Able men have devoted themselves to the field of scientific research that the horse may receive all the benefits of man’s wisdom. Schools now’ educate doctors in the manifold operation of the veterinary surgeon with a skill and knowhdge unknown to 'the past Dr. Kannal has had ample training and experience, having practiced seven years constantly in Rensselaer. He is a graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College of the class of ’94, anil at once came hqre in the practice. Dr. Kannal has been assistant State Veterinarian for two years and has had a wide experience with all deseases peculiar to the domestic animals. We have heard many tributes in his praise as a conscientious and successful practitioner. His office is in the I. O. O. F. building, opposite the court house. He attends all calls day or night and can be readily reached by telephone or otherwise for the treatment of horses, cattle or other domestic animals. Dr. Kannal's practice has extended to all parts of the surrounding country and he enjoys a wide measure of success and popularity. He now represents the First Ward in the city council which shows his popularity [ with his neighbors and their confidence in him.
