KANSAS CITY MURDER CASE.

Sensation la Promised When Lain Prince Kennedy Faces a Jnry. What promises to he the most sensational murder trial Kansas City has ever known will be fought out when Lulu

Prince Kennedy faces a jury to answer the charge of murdering her husband, Philip 11. Kennedy. The coroner's jnry recommended that she be held for murder in the first degree. That means that a demand for the infliction of the death penalty will he made by the State nnd with a woman

on trial for life, after the notoriety that has been given to the ease since the day ’she shot down her husband, the trial will probably be bitterly contested and attract widespread attention. When the news of the killing of Kennedy by his wife was-first published the sympathy which usually goes out to a

woman under such circumstances was given to her. But aiuco that time there has been a change on the face of the evidence. Testimony was given before the coroner’s jury which gave rise to the suspicion that Kennedy was the victim of a conspiracy in which the family of the woman wore con-

cerned. Should that prove true the case will assume a vastly different aspect from that which was first presented.
