Nationalist Convention Puts a Kan on Healjr and Carew. Dublin. DtH*. 12. —The Nationalist convention met in tlie Dublin rotunda, Jehu Redmond, the famous Nationalist leader, presiding over 3,000 delegates from the United Irish league and various other popular organizations and public bodies from all parts of Ireland, William O’Brien moved the exclusion from the Irish party of Timothy Ilealy and James J. Carew, the former for his reckless attacks on his colleagues in parliament and in the National league, the latter because he owed his seat to a discreditable trlek played on Parnell's brother. Dur ug an animated discussion Timothy Harrington spoke in favor of HeaJy, but the resolution was finally carried by an overwhelming majority. John Redmond has summoned a meeting of the Ilrsh members in order to ratify the decision of the convention excluding Healy and Carew.
