BECKHAM INAUGURATED

One More Chapter Written In Kentucky's Volitical History. Frankfort. Ky„ Dec. 12.—With perfect weather and in the presence of a vast throng of people from over the state another chapter was written in Kentucky's political history when Governor J. C. W. Beckham was inaugurated for the remainder of the term for which William Goebel and WUliam S. Taylor contested last year. With the booming of camion at 11 o’clock, the inaugural procession, the most imposing ever seen on a* similar occasion in this state, took up its march which traversed the main thoroughfares of the city. 1 Two full regiments of the state guard, tlie Duckworth club of Cincinnati, and many political clubs and civic societies were in line. It was about noon when the procession reached the eapltol. where the inaugural ceremonies proper took place. A touching incident of the day was the decoration of the grave of the late Governor Goebel, which took place at the cemetery in the afternoon.
