Mrs. Herman Ahlers is on the sick list. Al Hann did business at the hub Saturday. Charles Davis is carring his onions this week. Mr, Ropp of Aix, visited Thomas Knight Sunday. Lawrence Ward visited his parents at Monon Sunday. Grading begun on the new R. R. to the oil fields Munday. M. O. Callahan returned from his visit to Chicago Friday. Joe Schmit of Lafayette, is working for Mr. Ahlers in his onions. Alf Donnelly of Rensselaer, called on T. M. Callahan Sunday. Bessie and George Kimble visited friends at Rensselaer Saturday Mrs. Frank Nelson of Comer, is visiting friends at Wolcott this week. Mrs. Harry Gifford went to Herscher, 111., to remain a few days with her parents. Peter Rhodes’ baby and also John Akers’ baby, died Friday. They weie both buried at Pleasant Grove Saturday. Bert Camp was at a dance over near Medaryville Saturday night and came very near getting the life choked out of him. Be careful, Bert, when there is a scrap on hand; better run. We notice in last week’s McCoysburg items, that "Walter Junes had a good time at the ice-cream social at Lee.” We have known said Jones some time, and rather suspect something. We are inclined to wonder it all his young gentlemen friends had as good a time as India?
