Miss Olson from Chicago, is visiting at Mrs. Lang's. Parker Overton will begin school at Surrey next Monday. Miss Nellie Bartley will teach the “Doc” Nichols school. James Yeoman bought a car load of cattie of Thomas Murphy. Miss Elsie Rowen, who has been very sick, is better at this writing. Mr. Shook, Robinson and Elmar Kenton are working near Bryant, S. D. They will remain there some time yet. Mr. David and Phebe Nowels, Mrs. D. B. Nowels and son Auburn, Mr. and Mrs. A. Parkison, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Nowels of Rensselaer, were the guests of Airs. Simon Kenton Wednesday. Omar and Melvan Kenton, who have Deen on an extended tour through .iputh Dakota, have returned home feeling wdi satisfied with the country, having fou.iU much better land than they expecteu.
