Grandpa Miles is erecting a dwelling bouse in 1). V. Misses M. Henry and Lessie Bates were D. V. callers last Sunday. Miss Blanche Hill and Mr. D. V. suppered with Mr. and Mrs. Brown last Sunday. Mrs. White has purchased a fine carriage. She intends to take life easy, and 1 guess she will. A few of the D. V. folks attended the Baptist Association at Morocco last wetk. A good time is reported. Mr. I. Curtain, who is working on the Burk ranch, says that the D. V. girls are jewels in disguise. He has 3 high regard for one of the D. V. belles. Guess who? Messrs. Joe Hilliard and Lee Fisher who have been attending the normal and institute at Rensselaer have returned to their respective homes. They are actually running over with wisdom.
