Dyke Nichols threshed Tuesday and had 800 bushels of oats. Charley Hopkins went to Wheatfield Sunday. returning Monday. Blackford wants the pumpkin-vine road for the, simple reason that the merchants and blacksmiths can get their merchandise shipped right in town cheaper than any other way.
