Misses KatieMcNannls, Lena Marquarat and Pearl Bohannon were nicely entertained (ora abort time Sunday afternoon by Mr. Aaron Claspel and wife. The girla think they will call again.

Mrs. Hulda Alberding of Chicago, is visiting her parents Mr. and slrs. Baker this week. Misses Flartha and Millie Krumon. Maggie, Lily and Hannah Carrol spent Sunday in Michigan City. Mr. H. A. Hines and family and Mr. Wtrincuff and wife visited friends and relative* in the country Sunday. Miss Annie McMannis is staying in the country for awhile. Annie doesn't like the lonesomenewrof country life. Owen Daly drove to No. Judson Sunday evening on important business—Was going to see yer gal, wasn't ye Owen ? We noticed the smiling face of Elmer Collins on our street once more on Snnday evenings. Annie i» alright, Elmer. What’s the matter with Mr. Dannvlße. that he hasn't been pte-hunting lately? Has he at last eaten all the pie he wants? A number of our young people expect to board tfae excursion for St. Joe next Sunday. Grant and Joho ate among the number. The Misses Crawfowl have an ice cream parlor every Saturday evening now and will continue to do so during tills extremely warm weather, They welcome their friends, and strangers. ti*o. at any time. The dance-last Saturday night was well attended and everybody had a good time. Next Saturday night they will adinusn to the platform and spend die evening in tripping the light fantastic toe. Everybody is cordially invited to attend and partnks of thegoodtime. Next Saturday and Sunday evening. J. B. Stanley will be in our town, lie will deliver a temperance lecture on Sunctay evening at the M. E. church. Let everybody come and show Mr. Stanley we haven’t forgotten the good work he accomplished here a little more than a year ago.
