The northern corps has beeu ordered to expel foreigners from Amur. The I’ekin army is djgided into four corps, the first of which is to operate against Mukden and occupy the roads between Pekin and Shan-ilai-Kiinii: the second is to concentrate at Tieti-Tsin and the,third at Pekin, whence a column numbering 40.00(1 will be sent to Wei-Mui Wei and Tsiu-Tati. while the fourth corps will concentrate lit Nankin. There are now ‘JIt.OUO Japanese troops iu (’hiini. The reliellion has taken hold of southern China. The foreigners at Chu-Chan and In-Chau have loan attacked and are fleeing panic-stricken.
A dispatch from Nankin announce*} that Prince Tuan lias ordered a great military movement, owing to the appearance of the Japanese in China. The viceroy of has informed the foreign consuls there that he cannot lie answerable for events in Chno-Sin, Nlng-Po and Chu-Chan. The foreigners nre fleeing to Shanghai. The position is alarming. Sixteen foreigners have arrived at Nankin from Nlng-Po, where the houses of forotgners have been burned uud missionhorribly maltreated.
