John Hopkins helped Eli Arnold put up hay Tuesday. Ike Miller and family called on Ell Arnold last Sunday. Mr. Brubaker and family of Parr was in this vicinity Sunday. Miss Rosa Brubaker or Parr, is working at W. G. Renicker's. The rattling noise of the self-binder can be heard in every oata field. Mrs. Randle of Rensselaer, visited in these parts the first of the week. Grant Renicker helped John Renicker put up hay a couple of days last week. Wanted—Someone to Invent a machine to catch potato bugs and mosquitoea. Mr. Frank Peters of Miami Co., was a visitor in these parts Saturday and Sunday. Joel Wray and Frank Peters of the hayseed region of Wheatfield, visited in these parts Saturday and Sunday. Eli Arnold sowed afield of clover and a field of rye last week and will cut his oats and make his hay this week. Looks like Eli is crowding the season or reversing the rules of farming.
