A Good Phase of Honesty.

She was a bright little woman, and when some one apologized for an occurrence at which she might have taken offense, she laughingly disclaimed ajiy such thought “I am honest you know and so I never pick up things that don’t belong to me, not even slights,” she said, merrily, "i don’t like them, anyway, nnd I hat* to be quite certain that one is intended for my use before I appropriate it.” So many people spend wearisome days and nights nursing grievances that they have only “picked up,’ and in brooding over slights which were never designed for them, that thia sort of honesty Is heartily to be commended.
